Consumer — · Interest —%/yr, simple interest ·
To bulk-import months: pick the starting month above, then click Upload Excel and choose a spreadsheet with the monthly dues listed one below another down column A — A1 becomes the month you picked, A2 the next month, and so on.
| # | Month | Current Month Dues |

This tab is for entering months and their dues only. Prev Month, Arrear, Interest, Balance, Outstanding and every other calculated figure are shown together on the Complete Report tab.
To bulk-import payments: click Upload Excel and choose a spreadsheet with the payment date in column A and the matching amount in column B, row by row (A1 with B1, A2 with B2, and so on). Each payment is added with its own date exactly as given — no need to correct it afterward.
| # | Date | ED Paid |

This tab is for entering payments only. How each payment is adjusted — Interest, Arrear, Prev Month, Current and Extra — is shown together with the monthly figures on the Complete Report tab.
When the print dialog opens, switch off "Headers and footers" (usually under "More settings") — otherwise your browser prints its own title/date/page-number line above and below the report, which can crowd or clip the ledger's own summary at the top.
| # | Month | Current Month | Prev Month | Arrear | Adjusted Interest | Int. Carry | Total Interest | Payment | Balance | Outstanding |
|---|
The Payment column lists each individual payment received that month; the small line beneath each amount shows how that payment was adjusted — toward Interest, Arrear, Prev Month, Current, and any Extra left over. When two payments land on the same date, both show that date's combined split (the original workbook does the same).
Note: the Adjusted Interest and Outstanding columns are left out of the printed/PDF version to leave more room for larger, easier-to-read text — both are still shown on screen.
One month at a time: pick the month in the Month box, type the Current month dues, then click Add month. Do this once for every month you have — the report recalculates automatically each time.
Many months at once (bulk upload): first pick the earliest month in the Month box — this tells the ledger which month the first figure belongs to. Then click Upload Excel (Col A = Current Month ED) and choose a spreadsheet with the dues listed one below another down column A, starting at cell A1. A1 becomes the month you picked, A2 the next month, A3 the one after, and so on — no header row, no dates in the file, just the numbers in order.
One payment at a time: pick the Date paid, type the ED paid amount, then click Add payment.
Many payments at once (bulk upload): click Upload Excel (Col A = Date, Col B = Payment) and choose a spreadsheet where column A holds the payment date and column B holds the matching amount, row by row — A1 with B1, A2 with B2, and so on. Each payment is added with its own exact date from the file, so there's nothing to correct afterward. This one doesn't need a month picked first — the dates come from the file itself.
Open Ledger settings (the gold bar near the top, or the "edit ledger settings" link under the title) to set:
Changing any of these recalculates the entire ledger immediately.
This page keeps your data only in the browser tab you're using — nothing is saved automatically to a server. To keep your work:

The Complete Report brings the Monthly Report and Payment Report together into one month-by-month view: each row shows that month's Current Month dues, Prev Month, Arrear, Interest figures, every individual payment received that month (with how it was split between Interest, Arrear, Prev Month, Current, and Extra), and the resulting Balance. Below the table, the Outstanding Summary shows the total still owed as of the latest month, split into Interest and Arrear/Principal, plus how much of all payments made went toward interest. This is also the only tab that can be turned into a PDF, using its Save as PDF button.
